Dear Blogspot,
You are currently being beaten out by my tumblr. I've posted an additional 2-3 things on it that I have not cross-posted.
There's not much reason for it - you're both pretty easy to navigate and use. You both have good apps for drafting blogs in transit. Tumblr is better interfaced with instagram/twitter etc but that doesn't particularly sway me since I like more control than that allows. I think tumblr is slightly prettier and I like the micro-blogging concept. However Blogspot is that teensie bit easier to format and play with. And I tend to talk longer than suits microblogging.
All in all - tumblr is a bit sexier. It's even in the name. But I really like that I can follow various friends via the blogspot interface, even if they aren't on the same blog platform. Tumblr, like LJ and other blog platforms only allows me to follow other persons on the same platform.
So...what to do? Close you down? Keep you open only for following other blogs? Shut down tumblr? Split the way that I use you both?
